Retro Replay Warm Up Troubles were for a long time not really existent seen from some peoples point of view.
Fortunately nowadays the vesalia.de online shop reads on the MMC Replay:
LXIV et CXXVIII. MMC REPLAY also supports the Commodore 128. The C128 is not fully compatible to the C64 - with Retro Replay and the MMC64 it could happen that the function was only available after a certain warm-up period or even not available at all. MMC REPLAY has passed extensive testing with more than 40 different C64 and C128 variants, even native C128 cartridge software is supported!
Such required "warm-up periods" were observed on a few C64s as well so we doubt the behaviour is limited to C128 machines.
